Krzysztof Rzecki

received a DSc degree in Information and Communication Technology from the Scientific Discipline Board for Information and Communication Technology at the AGH University of Krakow, Poland in 2022 and a PhD degree in Computer Science from the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Informatics, Polish Academy of Sciences, Gliwice, Poland in 2009.


Currently, he is an associate professor at the AGH University of Krakow, Poland. He is a co-founder and CEO of Live-Docs.com in Krakow, Poland. He is an R&D Manager of the EU research project in Seargin Sp. z o.o. in Gdańsk, Poland. Most recently he was a Member of the Management Team of the TN-Dose-3D science project at the Cracow University of Technology, Poland and also an R&D Manager of the EU research project in EPL Poland Sp. z o.o. in Miedzyrzecz, Poland.


His research focuses on the field of biometric methods, gesture recognition, machine vision, radiotherapy and cosmic rays. Previous projects concerned bronchoscopy, laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy, virtualization, context awareness, service-oriented architecture and network protocols.


He cooperated in the fields of his research with Universities and Polish Academy of Science in Poland and enterprises: Seargin Sp. z o.o. in Gdańsk, EPL Poland Sp. z o.o. in Miedzyrzecz, ComArch Healthcare S.A., VSoft S.A. and CCNS S.A. in Krakow, Telekomunikacja Polska S.A. in Warszawa, Poland and Siemens AG and Nokia Siemens Networks AG  in Munich, Germany.


Certificates: POWR.3.5, TOP 500 Innovators, ITIL Foundation, PRINCE2.

Programs: Fulbright Cybersecurity, ISS on DL.


Teaching: Operating Systems, Operating Systems for Erasmus Students, Introduction to Administration and Computer Security.


The research topics he supervises, available at AGH Doctoral School are concentrated in the area of bioinformatics.
